Malvern International is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As part of our ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking to appoint a Regional Manager to deliver Malvern International’s recruitment objectives in India, by developing and managing an extensive Indian-based agent network for recruitment to university partners in the UK. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales & marketing activity plans.


The appointed candidate will have a proven track record within the pathway recruitment sector sales and have excellent communication skills. Central to this role is the development of relationships with a range of stakeholders, the ability to be self-motivated and to drive results through:


•            Strong internal and external relationships

•            The ability to clearly and concisely across a diverse set of audiences

•            Strong negotiation and influencing skills


The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, target-driven, and a strong team player with a flexible approach to work. The role will involve extensive recruitment travel throughout India with potential trips to other regions as required.


Key Responsibilities


  • To work with senior management within Malvern International to achieve student recruitment targets in their region.
  • To build effective working relationships with the school colleagues and deliver collaborative recruitment activities to achieve enrolment targets.
  • To develop a strong understanding of Malvern International’s offering including:
  • overall brand positioning, individual brand messaging, programme propositions and the unique positioning, provision, and strengths of the schools with a view to promote our key services to students, parents, agents and other institutions in the region.
  • To manage all aspects of the agent network for India.
  • To be fully aware and on top of UKVI developments for students wishing to study in the UK.
  • To attend recruitment events and advise/counsel student enquirers/applicants.


Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Eligibility to live and work in India. Meet statutory and organisational child-
  • safeguarding requirements
  • Educated to a minimum of degree level
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Prior experience of sales and marketing in the international education sector.
  • Experience of producing sales reports
  • Proven track record in delivering against recruitment targets in the international education sphere.
  • Good understanding of the UK education system
  • Established relationships with agents and educational consultants in India.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Skilled influencer and networker
  • Good relationship management and customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good PC and database management skills


Desirable:

  • Certified training in sales and/or marketing programmes
  • Degree in a business or marketing- related subject and/or from UK University.
  • Good understanding of UKVI regulations
  • Good knowledge of the wider India region and its market trends
  • Good utilisation of a CRM system
  • Demonstrated record in managing expenditure within a budget
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • initial understanding of the international GCSE and Sixth form market
