Job Summary


This role requires a 'hands-on' leader and team player who is able to lead the team from front, set clear expectations and objectives, who sets aggressive goals and delivers on key initiatives. The Key Account Manager needs to be able to devise a medium-term vision, based on thorough understanding of the key account universe, trends and opportunities with an attention for detail.



Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by developing and executing the customer business plans for the region assigned
  2. Ensure perfect in-market execution, as per the KPI's defined, across the region
  3. Continuously collect, analyse and review sales data - primary/secondary/off-take/market share data - by customer development, and identify issues/opportunity areas
  4. Regular engagement with the regional customers and regional contacts of national customers to build strong relations and drive organizational priorities in most effective and time-bound manner


Job Specifications


Education :

  1. Post-graduation (MBA) preferred


Experience :

  1. A proven track record of 5-6 years professional experience in Key Account Management, ideally with FMCG/FMCD/pharma background
  2. Excellent network of existing contacts and trade relationships


Knowledge and Skills :

  1. Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
  2. Successful front line retail negotiation experience and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong communication and conceptual selling skills.
  4. Strong consensus building skills, with cross-functional leadership experience
