Job Description

As the Regional Head-Personal Loan (DST) at IDFC First Bank, your role is crucial in scaling the Business Loan lending business within your designated region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand products, channels, customer segments, and overall reach. Your focus will be on delivering banking solutions in a cost-efficient and technology-driven manner, while also building high-performing teams, robust systems, and a delivery-oriented culture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Sales, IT, Credit, and BIU is essential to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Grow the AUM base:** Increase Business Loan lending AUM and ensure achievement of revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets. - **Lead State Heads:** Provide strategic guidance for deeper distribution penetration and geographic expansion. - **Collaborate with Product Head:** Work with the Product Head Business Loan to deliver tailored funding solutions and ensure appropriate incentives for DSTs. - **Design channel mix strategies:** Implement channel mix strategies and build strong relationships with digital marketplace partners and key alliances. - **Enhance customer journey:** Create a seamless and fulfilling customer journey to establish IDFC First Bank as the preferred banking partner. - **Oversee distribution channel success:** Ensure RM training, channel integration, improved TAT, and interventions in low-productivity locations. - **Ensure compliance:** Adhere to internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business. - **Reduce credit loss:** Partner with the Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency metrics. **Qualifications Required:** - **Education:** Graduate in any discipline. - **Experience:** Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in retail banking, lending, or financial services. **Skills and Attributes:** - Strategic thinking and execution capabilities - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities - Deep understanding of business loan products and customer behavior - Tech-savvy with a focus on digital enablement - Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, as the Regional Head-Personal Loan (DST) at IDFC First Bank, you will be expected to: - **Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:** - **Mentor and coach senior team members:** Foster a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity. - **Create an environment focused on automation:** Enable digital solutions to meet customer needs holistically. - **Attract and retain top talent:** Support the bank's rapid growth objectives by recruiting and retaining top talent.
