We’re scaling rapidly and need someone exceptional to help us assemble the tribe that will solve India’s water and energy crisis.

Role Summary

recruitment architect

This is not a typical HR role. You’ll design our entire recruitment engine — from understanding role DNA to crafting assessments, creating JDs, optimizing sourcing funnels, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

You’ll hire across leadership, technical, managerial, and field roles — from CXOs to campus recruits — building systems that scale with the company.


You will:

  • Run a structured hiring process for every role — from requirement gathering to onboarding.
  • Create clarity: define must-have skills, secondary skills, and personality traits for each profile.
  • Build automated assessments and filters to ensure only the best reach the final stage.
  • Write sharp, differentiated job descriptions aligned with Wattr.ai’s brand voice.
  • Optimize sourcing across channels (LinkedIn, job portals, internal referrals, campus drives, etc.).
  • Manage interview pipelines: Automated tests → HR interview → final founder interview.
  • Maintain documentation and dashboards to track every candidate’s journey.
  • Continuously learn and implement modern recruitment frameworks (e.g., Who Hiring, Topgrading, Kanban systems).


You are:

  • 3–7 years of hands-on recruitment experience across diverse roles (tech + non-tech).
  • Obsessed with clarity, structure, and candidate experience.
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership.
  • Tech-savvy: G-Suite, LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, or Kanban-based systems.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to
