Reconciliation Specialist

As a Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a key role in performing reconciliation using our tool while ensuring the accuracy of the results. We are seeking a qualified professional with the following background and experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of reconciliation experience within the finance department.

2. Proven experience in interacting with other accountants as part of dispute resolution processes.

3. Preferred experience with popular ERPs like Tally, SAP, or similar systems.

4. Strong accounting background with effective communication skills.

5. Experience working in the finance department of a mid-size enterprise or experience with CA audit firms.

Skills Required:

1. Advanced proficiency in Excel.

2. Intermediary to advanced knowledge of accounting principles.

3. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and resolve discrepancies with other team members.

4. Logical reasoning and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct meticulous vendor to vendor reconciliation using our tool to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Collaborate effectively with other accountants to resolve disputes and discrepancies within financial records.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or similar platforms to streamline and enhance reconciliation processes.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members regarding reconciliation status and findings.

• Deliver the reconciled outputs in a time-bound manner.

• Apply logical reasoning and analytical skills to identify and address reconciliation issues promptly.

• Continuously improve reconciliation processes and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

• Uphold the values of speaking up about problems or challenges, achieving tasks promptly, and maintaining an optimistic and persevering attitude.
