Job Title: ReceptionistLocation: GNV Pathology Lab, Gwalior Department: Front Office / Customer Service Reports To: Lab Manager / Admin Job SummaryThe Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at GNV Pathology Lab. The role involves welcoming patients, handling inquiries, managing registrations, coordinating sample collection requests, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the laboratory team. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Management Greet patients and visitors politely. Manage patient registration, data entry, and billing in the system. Guide patients regarding available health packages and tests. Communication & Coordination Answer phone calls, WhatsApp, and emails professionally. Schedule appointments and coordinate home sample collections with logistics staff. Provide test reports to patients via print/email/WhatsApp. Administrative Duties Collect payments (cash/UPI/card) and issue receipts. Maintain patient records, daily collection register, and MIS reports. Assist in report dispatch and courier handling. Customer Support Address patient queries regarding test preparation (fasting, timing, etc.). Handle complaints politely and escalate issues to management. Ensure patient satisfaction and maintain a positive image of the lab. RequirementsQualification: Graduate / 12th pass with good communication skills. Experience: 1–2 years in healthcare, hospital, or diagnostic lab preferred. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office / Lab software / billing system. Good communication in Hindi & English. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
