Description
Atmabodh Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Male Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of wellness and hospitality, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome for all visitors and a seamless flow of daily operations at the front desk. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and contributing to the overall serene and healing atmosphere of the center.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations:
Warmly greet and welcome all guests, visitors, and staff with a polite and professional demeanor.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Provide information about the wellness center's services, programs (Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy therapies, etc.), facilities, and daily schedules.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Guide guests to their respective rooms, therapy areas, dining hall, or other facilities as needed.
Maintain a calm and supportive environment for guests who may be undergoing treatment or experiencing health challenges.
Front Desk Operations:
Manage a multi-line phone system, answering calls, taking messages, and directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, faxes, mail) efficiently.
Schedule and manage appointments for consultations, therapies, and other services using the center's booking system.
Maintain accurate and confidential guest records and files (physical and digital).
Process payments for services, maintain accurate transaction records, and handle cash/card transactions securely.
Coordinate with doctors, therapists, yoga instructors, kitchen staff, and housekeeping to ensure smooth service delivery and guest experience.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inviting ambiance of the reception and waiting areas.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
Monitor and manage office supplies, placing orders as needed.
Handle logistics related to guest accommodation, meal timings, and transportation arrangements (e.g., booking cabs from Pune Railway Station/Airport).
Ensure all necessary paperwork and procedures are completed prior to guest arrival and during their stay.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience (1-3 years) in a front office, reception, or customer service role, preferably in a wellness center, spa, hotel, or healthcare environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (Marathi is a strong advantage). Ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally with a diverse clientele.
Customer Service: A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with booking/scheduling software.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail, capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, patient, and calm demeanor, even under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
