We will do this by funding 100 locally led, community-rooted NGOs every year with 5-year unrestricted grants, backed by need-based multi-year capacity building support. The fund is working with NGOs, philanthropists, and sector intermediaries to mainstream leaders from the community and shift power dynamics in grant-making, keeping in mind the principles of Gender, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.We are at a stage where we are looking for driven, passionate, and empathetic individuals who are committed to supporting locally-led, small, community-rooted NGOs across India, are excited by the thought of creating a path-breaking movement towards challenging the status quo, and have a burning desire to see an equitable India.About the role:We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and empathetic individual to lead Dasra's communications efforts for the Rebuild India Fund. S/he/they/them will be directly involved in the conceptualization, designing, writing, and overall management of communications-focused deliverables. They shall exhibit the ability to collaborate and aggregate information across work streams to drive narrative change about supporting grassroots NGOs with flexible funds and influencing relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem thereby furthering the fund’s communication goals. The candidate’s responsibilities shall include, but won’t be restricted to:
- Communication Strategy and Implementation: End-to-end strategy design and implementation of communications plan and other deliverables aligned with Rebuild’s goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Plan and achieve project deliverables within the set deadline, with attention to detail, and effective time management with minimal supervision.
- Stakeholder Management: Actively liaison with all key communications stakeholders, such as NGOs, media, sector experts, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge products: Design knowledge products with nuanced content and compelling design that capture insights in simplistic language that is accessible to a wider audience.
- Research: Conduct secondary research to strategically position the Rebuild India Fund in the sector.
- Duration: Full-time Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate with 5-7 years of work experience in communications advisory & planning, research & analytics, and branding.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of developing nuanced and compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design platforms like Photoshop, Canva, and Illustrator is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated time management, adept conflict resolution skills and demonstrated ability to execute large-scale communications plans.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills- the ability to nurture relationships and align diverse stakeholders towards a common objective.
