Real Estate Project Manager

Role Overview: You will be joining the firm's Real Estate Team as a Real Estate Project Manager, where you will be responsible for managing McKinsey's global real estate portfolio, focusing on supporting McKinsey locations in the Asia-Pacific Region. Your primary role will involve executing McKinsey's real estate strategy and providing sustainable workplace solutions across the region. Key Responsibilities: - Support McKinsey locations in the Asia-Pacific Region by assessing the suitability of current locations, evaluating potential new locations and buildings, providing programmatic support in building project requirements, developing project budgets, and actively managing approved budgets. - Lead competitive processes to source and build external professional teams required for project execution, and actively manage these teams from project inception through completion. - Develop, use, and share best practice standards for the successful delivery of sustainable interior fit-outs, including technical, process, and coordination documents. - Collaborate with location leaders, IT colleagues, and other internal stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met and sustainable workplaces are built to firm standards. Qualifications Required: - University degree, ideally in project management, construction, or architectural design - 5+ years of experience, preferably in a professional services environment with hands-on experience in corporate interiors construction, project management, or architectural design - Strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and project management skills - Proficiency in rational decision making based on data and logical reasoning - Ability to self-motivate, act independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong integrity, maturity, and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear messages effectively, including complex concepts.
