Job Title: “Deputy General Manager (DGM) / Project Manager – Real Estate Development”

Location: Kolkata

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional in real estate development who has in

depth knowledge of the approval process, compliance norms, and end-to

end development cycle of construction projects in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have

prior experience in managing largescale residential or commercial projects and coordinating

with statutory bodies for all development-related approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the entire project development process — from conceptualization, design c

oordination, statutory approvals, and execution to handover.

Manage and track statutory approvals including building plan sanction, fire, environment,

airport, and pollution clearances, among others.

Liaise with government and local authorities such as KMC, KMDA, HIDCO, NKDA, Fire

Department, Airport Authority, etc., for timely approvals and compliance.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal departments to ensure

smooth project execution within budget and timelines.

Ensure all development activities comply with company policies, building codes, and local

regulations.

Lead project teams, assign responsibilities, and mentor junior staff members.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

scale residential or commercial projects in Kolkata.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of the entire development process from land acquisition to completion.

In-depth knowledge of local approval procedures and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
