React Native & Node.js Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled React Native & Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. You will work on both mobile (iOS & Android) and backend server systems, building scalable, high-performance applications. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deploy mobile applications using

  React Native

  for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using

  Node.js

  (Express, NestJS, Koa, or similar).
• Integrate frontend/mobile components with backend APIs (REST / GraphQL).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit tests, integration tests).
• Optimize application performance (mobile app startup time, rendering speed, memory usage, API response times).
• Work on user interface components, animations, offline capabilities, and native module bridging when needed.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure designs are implemented faithfully and responsively.
• Ensure code quality via code reviews, automated tests, and best practices.
• Handle deployment processes: mobile app store submission, backend deployment, CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with latest mobile and backend technologies, libraries, and practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in

  JavaScript / TypeScript

  .
• Proven experience (usually 4 years, adjust as per level) with

  React Native

  for mobile app development.
• Good understanding of both Android and iOS platforms: build tools (Xcode, Android Studio), platform limitations, native modules.
• Experience with

  Node.js

  backend: frameworks like Express, NestJS etc., writing RESTful APIs / GraphQL.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL / NoSQL), e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or others.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration), and tools like Jest, Mocha etc.
• Understanding mobile app lifecycle, performance optimizations, memory constraints.
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues.
• Ability to work in Agile / Scrum or similar iterative development methodologies.
• Good communication & collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally.

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  TypeScript

  rather than just JavaScript.
• Experience with

  Redux

  ,

  MobX

  , or similar state management tools in React/React Native.
• Familiarity with native modules (iOS/Android) or bridging.
• Experience with CI/CD, mobile app store pipelines.
• Knowledge of offline storage (e.g. SQLite, Realm, or using local persistence mechanisms).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures.
• Experience with GraphQL (both frontend & backend).
• Experience with performance monitoring, mobile crash reporting tools (e.g. Sentry, Bugsnag).
• UI/UX sensitivity: animations, responsive design, good design-implementation fidelity.
