This is a permanent role with Bootstrapped startup in BFSI domain, a valued client of Pieworks.

We are looking for a skilled

React Native Developer

to build and maintain high-quality iOS and Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

React Native fundamentals, hooks, navigation, and state management

, along with hands-on experience using the

Expo SDK

for efficient development and deployment.This role requires technical depth in

performance optimization, API integrations, offline capabilities, and DevOps workflows

, while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive mobile experiences.

✅ Mandatory Criteria

Strong knowledge of React Native fundamentals — components, hooks, navigation, and state management.
Ability to build iOS and Android apps from a single codebase.
Experience with Expo SDK for building, testing, and deploying apps.
Familiar with Expo’s managed vs. bare workflow, push notifications, deep linking, and app store deployments.
Understanding of mobile app performance optimization and experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.
Proficiency in local storage, offline sync, and permissions handling.
Ability to implement pixel-perfect UI from Figma/Sketch with cross-device responsiveness.
Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD tools (Expo EAS, Fastlane), and testing frameworks (Jest, Detox).
Comfort using VS Code, debugging tools, and running Docker, emulators, or local test servers efficiently.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Build, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and Expo SDK.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive, performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs and manage data sync and offline capabilities.
Optimize app performance, handle permissions, and implement push notifications.
Deliver pixel-perfect UI aligned with Figma or Sketch design specifications.
Participate in code reviews, CI/CD automation, and testing workflows using Jest and Detox.
Maintain clean Git workflows and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.
Drive best practices in mobile development
