We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Release Engineering Lead to join our High‑Frequency Measurement (HFM) software team in India. This role will be responsible for owning and evolving the CI/CD infrastructure, driving DevOps improvements, leading the release engineering function, and spearheading AI‑based productivity initiatives to accelerate software delivery for HFM products.
You will lead a small team in India and work daily with cross‑functional partners (Engineering, QA, Architects, Product) across multiple geographies (U.S., China, Japan, and other Keysight sites). You will play a critical role in streamlining how software flows from development into production, ensuring we meet customer expectations for quality, reliability, and faster time‑to‑market.

Team Leadership & Strategy

Build, mentor, and manage a DevOps team in India.

Define team priorities, set KPIs, and align with the global HFM software leadership vision.

DevOps & CI/CD Improvements

Own the end‑to‑end CI/CD pipeline for HFM software (build automation, test automation, artifact management).

Modernize and optimize CI/CD infrastructure (servers, containers, dashboards).

Introduce scalable, cloud‑enabled CI/CD practices and improve pipeline reliability and speed.

Release Engineering & Process Streamlining

Lead the release engineering process for HFM software, ensuring smooth and predictable releases.

Define and enforce branching strategies, release gates, and LKG (last known good) build processes.

Build dashboards and trend charts to track release health (e.g., % of releases on time, % of must‑have features met, test stability trends).

AI‑Driven Productivity Initiatives

Identify and pilot AI tools and workflows that can reduce manual work in testing, release engineering, and developer productivity.

Partner with the AI for Productivity program to integrate AI into CI/CD workflows and release automation.

Cross‑Functional & Cross‑Geo Collaboration

Serve as the bridge between engineering, QA, DevOps, and architects to ensure alignment on priorities.

Coordinate with teams across India, U.S., and Japan to establish a follow‑the‑sun DevOps and release model.

Facilitate shared best practices and maintain consistent processes across geographies.
Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in DevOps or Release Engineering; at least 2+ years in a team lead or manager role.
Technical Expertise:
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TFS , Grafana etc.).
Deep knowledge of build and test automation, artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus), and branching/version control (Git).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation.
Experience introducing AI/ML tools or automation scripts for developer productivity (a plus).
Collaboration Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate across geographies.
Comfortable working across time zones, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in test & measurement software or embedded/firmware‑linked applications.
Familiarity with Keysight or similar instruments in a CI/CD context.
Hands‑on experience introducing AI/automation into DevOps workflows.
