R&D Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and proactive R&D Executive to join our dynamic team at VR Health Science Pvt. Ltd., Kotdwar. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in formulation development, product innovation, and process optimization within the cosmeceutical, skincare, or pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new formulations for skincare, haircare, and personal care products.
• Conduct research on active ingredients, excipients, and new technologies for product enhancement.
• Prepare laboratory-scale batches and stability samples.
• Optimize existing formulations for performance, cost, and stability improvement.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC and Production teams for pilot and commercial batch execution.
• Prepare product development reports, technical documentation, and specifications.
• Evaluate raw materials and approve new vendor samples in coordination with procurement.
• Stay updated with market trends, new actives, and global regulatory requirements.
• Support packaging compatibility studies and product claims validation.
• Maintain accurate R&D records and ensure compliance with GMP and GLP guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc in Cosmetics, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in cosmetic / cosmeceutical / pharmaceutical R&D.
• Sound knowledge of formulation science and product development processes.
• Familiarity with GMP, documentation, and stability protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
