Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

Lead formulation development for nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, and functional foods.
Conduct research on new ingredients, technologies, and product trends.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, FDA, or international standards).
Collaborate with QA/QC and production teams to scale up formulations from lab to commercial production.
Manage the R&D team, assign projects, and monitor performance.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and product dossiers.
Support marketing with product data, technical specifications, and claims substantiation.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field & Minimum 5-8 years of experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or functional food R&D.
Strong knowledge of formulations, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
