We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented R&D Assistant to join our electronics and embedded systems team. This entry-level role is ideal for a fresher or a candidate with up to 1 year of experience who is passionate about Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and basic circuit design. The R&D Assistant will support prototyping, testing, and development of innovative solutions, working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Support basic circuit design, assembly, and debugging under the guidance of senior team members.
Program microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) and single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi) using C/C++ or Python.
Collect and document data from experiments and tests, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Conduct research on electronic components, sensors, or technologies to support project development.
Maintain lab equipment (e.g., soldering irons, multimeters) and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
Prepare basic reports or presentations to summarize test results and project progress.
Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot issues and contribute to project goals.
Follow safety protocols and best practices in electronics lab environments.
Learn and apply new tools, techniques, or processes as guided by the team.
Experience with basic circuit design tools (e.g., KiCAD, Fritzing, or Eagle).
Familiarity with sensors, actuators, or IoT concepts (e.g., connecting devices via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth).
Exposure to soldering or using lab equipment like oscilloscopes.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code.
Enthusiasm for DIY electronics projects or participation in hackathons/maker communities.
Educational and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Up to 1 year of experience in electronics or embedded systems (including academic projects, internships, or personal hobby projects).
Hands-on experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms through coursework, projects, or self-learning.
Basic understanding of circuit design, including reading schematics and using tools like multimeters or breadboards.
Familiarity with programming in C/C++, Python, or similar for embedded systems.
Strong eagerness to learn and develop skills in electronics and embedded systems.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and testing.
Effective communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to guidance from senior engineers.
