We are hiring an experienced Consultant Radiologist to join a high-quality, patient-focused imaging department that delivers diagnostic and interventional radiology services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings.
About The Opportunity
We seek a clinically strong radiologist who combines precise, timely reporting with excellent patient care and clear clinician communication. The role is fully on-site and offers ownership of diagnostic services, participation in multidisciplinary rounds, and contribution to quality, safety, and service development initiatives.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, timely interpretation and reporting of imaging studies—CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy—for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases.
- Perform and supervise image-guided procedures (e.g., ultrasound/CT-guided biopsies, aspirations) following safety and consent protocols.
- Use PACS/RIS and DICOM workflows for reporting, archiving, and communicating critical results; maintain reporting turnaround-time targets.
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical rounds, and multidisciplinary case discussions to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Implement and maintain radiation safety, contrast administration protocols, and QA processes; mentor junior radiologists, residents, and technologists.
- Contribute to service development—protocol optimisation, reporting templates, audit, and departmental training sessions.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MD (Radio-diagnosis) or DNB (Radiology) or DMRD with valid medical registration in India.
- Minimum 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiology (hospital or diagnostic centre).
- Proven competence in CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray interpretation and experience with image-guided procedures.
- Hands-on experience with PACS/RIS, DICOM workflows and electronic reporting; strong attention to reporting quality and turnaround time.
Preferred
- Subspecialty exposure (e.g., neuro, MSK, abdominal, interventional) or fellowship training is an advantage.
- Experience in NABH/ACR-aligned QA, audits, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
