Role Responsibilities Perform radiographic examinations to assist in the diagnosis of patient conditions. Operate imaging equipment, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scanners, adhering to safety standards. Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging procedures. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results. Provide guidance and support for patients, explaining procedures and answering questions. Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and safety protocols. Stay updated with advancements in radiography technologies and methodologies. Participate in departmental quality assurance programs to enhance service delivery. Assist in training and orienting new staff members and interns. Manage equipment maintenance and alert supervisors of any operational issues. Prepare and maintain imaging rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Monitor and manage radiological waste in accordance with regulations. Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities. Actively engage in team meetings and contribute to departmental goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field. Valid registration and licensure to practice as a Radiographer in India. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical radiography setting. Strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient safety regulations. Proficient in operating radiographic and imaging equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Knowledge of radiation protection protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
