Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Choose correct exposure technique

Select
source type
, strength, exposure time.
Choose film type, number of films, double-wall exposure (DWE) or single-wall (SWSI/SWRI).

Verify equipment readiness

Check radiation source integrity, container condition, survey meter calibration, dosimeters, films, cassettes, intensifying screens.
Ensure all equipment is valid and calibrated.

Prepare job site

Identify safe exposure area
Place warning signs, barriers, flashing lights
Inform concerned personnel and coordinate with safety officer.

Preferred candidate profile

ASNT NDT Level-2 in Radiographic testing.

Experience in Gamma Source- Ir-192 and X-Ray 300 KV Equipment.

Experience in Oil and Gas sector.
