JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with hands-on experience in infrastructure projects to join our team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, monitoring & financial control for large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, railways & metro.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cost Estimation & Planning

•  Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.

•  Monitor project costs and compare against approved budgets to identify variances.

BOQ & Tendering

•  Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

•  Assist in tender documentation, floating, and evaluation.

•  Conduct rate and pricing analysis during procurement.

Project Cost Control

•  Track actual vs planned expenditures.

•  Value completed works and coordinate payment certifications for contractors.

Risk Assessment

•  Identify cost and time-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Reporting

•  Generate and present financial progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-completion analyses.

Technical Capabilities

•  Perform detailed Quantity Analysis and Rate Analysis.

•  Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per structural drawings.

•  Manage material and cost Reconciliation reports for on-site and procurement data.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

•  1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the infrastructure sector.

•  Hands-on experience with projects such as highways, metro, water supply, bridges, or rail infrastructure.

•  Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, ERP, & Other Estimation Software.

•  Excellent skills in rate analysis, negotiation, communication, and cost reporting.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE WITH CLIENTS/AGENCIES:

• Exposure to projects under NHAI, Metro, Indian Railways, or similar government/infrastructure bodies.
