Quantity surveyor/ Billing Engineer (Interior Fit-out Works)

Job Description

Position: Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer Project Type: Hotel Interior Fit-Out Works Location: As per project site requirement Candidate Profile: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Billing Engineer with a strong background in hotel interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate should have completed at least 70% of their projects in the hospitality sector and possess in-depth knowledge of hard finishes, fixed woodwork, and loose furniture execution and costing. Key Responsibilities: ⦁ Prepare and verify monthly client and subcontractor bills, ensuring adherence to BOQ preambles and standard methods of measurement. ⦁ Accurately calculate quantities as per IS Code 1200 and site conditions. ⦁ Maintain and manage joint records for RA bills. ⦁ Prepare project BOQs, estimations, and budgets based on drawings and built-up areas. ⦁ Conduct thorough rate analysis as per CPWD, DSR, and DAR norms. ⦁ Evaluate subcontractor claims and recommend interim and final payments. ⦁ Support final client billing and coordinate claim documentation in line with contractual obligations. ⦁ Maintain updated market knowledge for materials and services for rate benchmarking. ⦁ Prepare daily, weekly, and milestone progress reports. ⦁ Plan daily work schedules and track achievement reports. ⦁ Prepare PC bills and ensure timely checking and submission. ⦁ Develop and verify bar bending schedules and shuttering estimations. ⦁ Utilize AutoCAD and MS Office tools for accurate take-offs and documentation. Required Qualifications & Experience: ⦁ Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Building Technology. ⦁ Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying or billing in interior fit-out projects, preferably in the hospitality sector. ⦁ Strong knowledge of billing procedures, estimation, costing, and contract billing. ⦁ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and other MS Office applications. ⦁ Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills. ⦁ High level of integrity and accountability in financial reporting and subcontractor coordination.
