Role Overview:

The Quant Research Analyst will lead the development of advanced trading strategies by leveraging quantitative models, build a robust trading system, and support cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design and execute quantitative and analytical models and strategies to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct back testing of strategies to ensure robustness in different market regimes and Create statistical reports.
• Collect, clean, store and analyze large datasets from various sources which involves web scraping data to derive meaningful insights.
• Responsible for providing market risk assessment.
• Using different data points to understand what drives the earnings of a business.
• Stay abreast of the latest academic research, industry trends and emerging technologies in finance to enhance the research process continuously and develop innovative investment ideas.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in quantitative research, data analytics, financial modeling, or similar domain

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or related (Master’s preferred)
• Strong programming skills (Python or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of statistics and mathematics
• Proficiency in quantitative analytics
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) is a plus
• Prior experience in finance / investment is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
