Job Summary:

• BE or Diploma (or higher), in Mechanical engineering.

 • Three to Five years of experience in Aerospace sector 

• Knowledge of aerospace industry quality systems required 

• Ability to use various measuring instruments 

• Ability to read and understand technical documents 

• Internal auditing experience “preferable” 

• Knowledge of AS9102 

• Technology knowledge and experience of working on / operating precision measuring equipment essential.; • Experienced in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project); 

• Exposure to SAP will be added advantage

Job responsibilities

 Knowledge of drawing reading and understanding and measuring GD & T

 required

 • Should have hands on experience of measurement of mechanical parts and

 assemblies.

 • Knowledge / Exposure to Calibration of Instruments and gauges preferred

 • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specification, and other technical documents

 • Should have adequate knowledge of measuring instruments, gauges, and test equipment.

 • Conversant with the relevant inspection procedures, instructions and

  specifications issued by the concerned authorities.

 • Flexible and willing to work in Matrix organization structure

Soft Skills

• Capable of working in a team and independently too.

 • Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports.

 • Prompt in planning, review & reporting

POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Working in a Measurement lab / Standards room with precision measurement instruments and equipments 

• To carry out Layout inspection of parts and assemblies independently 

• Must be proficient in drawing reading, making inspection plans and generating inspection reports

 • Attend the aircraft at any stage of FAL activity (RI, In-Process, Final, NOE, SCAR), perform measurement     inspection and verification to generate measurement values to create a non-conformance report in SAP.

 • Capture necessary photos as evidence

 • NC Dashboard creation, maintenance, and circulation to the team

 • Generate RCA report upon completion of defect analysis. 

• FAI forms preparation using customized software. 

• Exposure to Calibration of measuring instruments and gauges preferred

 • Reporting the activities to SQ Manager
