Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

You are deputed as a Quality Engineer at one of our renowned customer end which is a Multinational Tier organization engaged in producing parts for Automotive
Your primary job is to carry out Quality Inspection of Newly Developed Parts (NPD) by doing Layout inspection
Your job is to ensure that all the parameters and dimensions on the part meet the mentioned standards, tolerances in the drawing
Escalate any out of specification parameter to the customer, halt the production in case needed
You have excellent knowledge of drawing reading, Ballooning and instruments selection
You have basic knowledge of CMM programming and report evaluation
You have good knowledge of Quality Management Systems followed by the Automotive Industry
You have good knowledge of various commodities such as Automotive Electrical, Electronics, Casting, Forging and very good knowledge of Machining processes

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma, Bachelors degree in Mechanial Engineering with 4+ years of experience in Automotive Quality management systems
Must have very good knowledge of drawing reading and Measuring instruments
Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality systems
