Job Description

Role & responsibilities

You are deputed as a Quality Consultant at one of our renowned customer end which is a Multinational Tier organization engaged in producing Power Train components for all major OEMs globally
Your Job is handling Supplier Quality, managing suppliers APQP & SOP, conducting regular Process Audits
Supplier Selection through potential supplier Audit, Managing supplier quality complaints & warranty issues.
Conduct Onsite PPAP & Run @ rate.
Ensure Flawless launch of supplier. Coordinate with all global locations.
Attend cross functional meetings with customer to discuss & update the status of projects on timely basis
Supplier Ontime Launch, Supplier ratings, Ontime support & closer of supplier related issues
Support the Suppliers in Development stages, finding root causes of the issues and suggest possible solutions
Generate and update reports as per agreed timeline

Preferred candidate profile

B-Tech / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical engineering with at least 15+ years experience in Automotive Industry +Excellent knowledge of Automotive Quality Systems - IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3
Commodity knowledge of Casing, Machining, Gears +Consolidated Knowledge and application in field of Quality Tools - 8D, Ishikawa, problem solving, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC

Other information

Work location: Baner, Pune +Should be flexible to travel extensively across India
Excellent communication skills, strong ability to work in team, assertiveness, decision making and goal oriented approach
