Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Handling suppliers related to Sheet metal, Plastics & Rubber commodity.
System audit & process audit at all identified suppliers as per plan. On-time closure of observations.
Performance monitoring and review of critical suppliers. Perform Monthly Quality Development Meeting with worst performing suppliers.
Ensuring reduction in Line rejection/ PDI rejection/ field rejection due to supplier issues.
Monthly communication with identified suppliers regarding concerns, change management & performance.
Improve supplier capability for Manufacturing, Quality, Cost, & Delivery.
Support supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Perform Vendor PPAP as per plan

Preferred candidate profile

Relevant manufacturing/ engineering degree or diploma in mechanical/electronics/electrical.
Certification in Six Sigma would be preferred.
06-08 years of experience.
Good knowledge of Advanced APQP, PPAP & FMEA
