Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships and supplier assessments according to ISO 22163 requirements.
  • Experienced in Product Quality, such as Incoming/ In process/ Customer and handling Non Conformances of various stages like Incoming/ Supplier, Internal, Customers etc.,
  • Quality professional background with knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plan, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall, etc.)
  • Ensuring the product quality robustness in Suppliers manufacturing Phase.
  • Manage the Suppliers Industrial process developments.
  • Handle various stages of SPQD and responsible for Pre FAI & FAI at supplier end.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement.
  • Monitoring Suppliers performance.
  • Role demands travel up to 80% of the time within India and abroad if necessary.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma in Mechanical with minimum 9 years experience or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
  • Reasonable exposure in various subsystems within Rolling stock Industry specifically HVAC, Gangways and Doors carries additional Weightage.
  • IT Literate IT tools essential to role are MS Office, Outlook.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Railway market preferred.
