Location – Pune ,Mumbai ,Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore

NP- immediate or 1 month notice period can be considered

Job Summary:

Looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and .NET technologies and API testing using Rest Assured

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across web applications built on the Microsoft stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop UI automated test scripts using Playwright with C#/.NET.
• Design and Develop API automated test scripts using Rest Assured
• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand business and functional requirements.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
• Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and prioritize accordingly.
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of the application under test.
• Document test cases, bugs, and test execution results clearly.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes quickly and effectively.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using C#
• Solid understanding of .NET Framework/Core.
• Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Rest Assured or automated API testing frameworks.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience in writing end to end and integration tests in .NET.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Spec Flow (optional).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL and working with databases.

Soft Skills:

• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
