Role Overview:

Quality Engineer (QE-1)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  automation test scripts

  for UI and API testing.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

  across various stages of the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify quality engineering opportunities and ensure test coverage.
• Maintain and enhance

  automation frameworks

  (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Page Object Model, Page Factory).
• Implement

  API/backend automation

  using Rest Assured, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot, and Cucumber.
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipeline testing

  for faster and reliable releases.
• Prepare and maintain

  test artifacts

  including RTM, Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Reports.
• Drive a strong

  quality-first mindset

  across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years

  of experience in software quality engineering and test automation.
• Strong

  programming skills in Java

  .
• Proficiency in

  UI Automation

  with Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Page Objects, Page Factory, and related design patterns.
• Hands-on experience in

  API/backend testing

  using Rest Assured, JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Boot.
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum environments

  with CI/CD practices.
• Strong knowledge of

  SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies

  .
• Ability to create and maintain test beds and

  comprehensive documentation

  (RTM, Test Plan, Test Strategy).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to

  performance testing

  and

  security testing

  tools.
• Familiarity with

  cloud-based test environments

  .
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) for test environments.
