Quality Control Engineer

Job Title: Quality Controller (QC) Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Company: PRS INFRA Pvt. Ltd. Reports To: Quality Manager / Project Manager Job Summary: PRS INFRA is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller (QC) to ensure that construction and infrastructure projects meet the company's high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The QC will be responsible for implementing inspection protocols, reviewing materials and workmanship, and ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect site activities and construction processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conduct material inspections upon delivery to ensure compliance with approved quality benchmarks. Review and verify work procedures, test plans, method statements, and checklists. Document non-conformities and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project engineers to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and codes. Maintain and organize QA/QC documentation, reports, and test results. Support internal and external quality audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Participate in quality meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance during inspections. Required Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QC/QA within the construction or infrastructure industry. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, BIS, IS codes). Experience with quality management systems (QMS). Knowledge of project documentation, inspection, and testing procedures. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
