The role includes receiving, storing, and issuing materials and maintaining stock records in an organized and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming materials, tools, and equipment. Verify quantities and quality of items received against purchase orders/invoices. Organize and store items in designated storage areas. Maintain proper inventory records in software/manual register (GRN, BIN Card, etc.). Issue materials as per production requirements and record the same. Monitor stock levels and inform management of low stock or overstock situations. Ensure proper labeling and segregation of materials to prevent mix-ups. Perform periodic stock audits and physical verifications. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the store area. Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments for smooth inventory flow. Assist in scrap handling and disposal as per company policy. Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO/Batch tracking methods. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports as required.
