Quality Control Engineer

Role Overview: As a Quality Control Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of deliverables submitted to clients for review and approval. You will be required to follow up with clients and nominated agencies to obtain timely approvals. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing material receiving inspection reports, monitoring the calibration of instruments/equipment, and ensuring all relevant documents are approved before fabrication or relevant activities commence. Regular site inspections will also be part of your duties to ensure QA/QC requirements are met according to codes, standards, specifications, approved drawings, and ITP. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare list of quality deliverables for client review/approval - Follow up with clients/nominated agencies for document approvals - Prepare material receiving inspection reports and obtain relevant approvals - Ensure calibration of testing and measuring instruments/equipment - Verify approval of all relevant documents before starting fabrication or activities - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements - Monitor welders" performance and take necessary actions - Follow up with sub-contractors to close punch points - Obtain Inspection Release note from Client or certifying authority upon work completion - Coordinate with sub-contractors for submission of As Built/Final documentation Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Additional Details: The company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits.
