Quality Control Engineer

As a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer, your role involves preparing a list of quality deliverables for submission to the client for review and approval. You will be responsible for following up with the client or nominated agencies to ensure timely approval of documents. Additionally, you will be required to prepare material receiving inspection reports, obtain approvals from relevant parties, and ensure that all testing and measuring instruments/equipment are duly calibrated with valid calibration certificates. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure QA/QC requirements are met according to relevant codes, standards, specifications, approved drawings, and ITP. - Monitor the performance of welders and take necessary actions in case of unsatisfactory welder performance. - Coordinate with subcontractors to address and close punch points and ensure timely submission of As Built/Final documentation. - Obtain Inspection Release notes from clients or their nominated inspection agencies/certifying authorities upon completion of work. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering As a part of the team, you will be expected to work full-time in Chennai.
