Job Description

  • A Quality Control (QC) Engineer ensures products meet specified quality standards through inspection, testing, and analysis.
  • Their responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control procedures, identifying defects, and collaborating with production teams to improve processes and product quality.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Inspection and Testing: QC Engineers conduct thorough inspections and testing of products, materials, and processes to identify defects or deviations from established standards.
  • Quality Standard Development: They develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection checklists, testing protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: When defects or non-conformities are identified, QC Engineers investigate the root cause of the issue and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Process Improvement: They collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: QC Engineers maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions, and prepare reports to communicate quality performance.
  • Supplier Quality Management: They may also be involved in evaluating and monitoring the quality of materials or components sourced from external suppliers.
  • Training and Communication: QC Engineers may train other employees on quality control procedures and communicate quality-related information to various stakeholders.
