Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Chemist with 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will play a key role in ensuring that our pharmaceutical products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform Testing: Conduct routine and non-routine chemical, physical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following approved protocols. Perform analytical testing using various instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, AAS and other laboratory equipment. Documentation: Record and analyse test results in compliance with GMP and company quality standards. Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely laboratory records, including test results, calibration records, and any deviations. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs, including proper laboratory documentation practices. Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to corrective actions as required. Method Validation: Assist in method validation and equipment qualification processes to ensure laboratory readiness for testing new products. Laboratory Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring that all Instruments are in proper working order. Monitor inventory levels of reagents, chemicals, and lab supplies, and ensure timely procurement when necessary. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy,or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing QC laboratory. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and equipment, including HPLC, AAS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Familiarity with GMP guidelines, and other pharmaceutical regulations. Knowledge of pharmaceutical product testing and stability studies is a plus. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and testing. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot analytical issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
