Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects across web, mobile, and backend systems with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing

• Also self-contributor along with the other up and above task for the Organisation level initiatives. Design detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories

• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Client

• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines

• Conduct defect triage meetings, track issues, and ensure timely resolution

• Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in manual testing and documentation

• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align QA efforts with development

• Maintain test environments and data for consistent and repeatable testing

• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and contribute to overall product quality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 10+ years of experience in manual testing, including 3+ years in a lead role

• Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Rest Client)

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

• Experience with test management tools like Jira, MTM, Quality Center, or Bugzilla

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a dynamic, startup-like environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation tools and frameworks is a plus

• Experience with cross-browser and mobile app testing

• ISTQB or equivalent certification
