Job Title- Quality Assurance Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards or other relevant certifications
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QMS and recommend improvements
• Establish and enforce quality standards for materials, processes, and final construction outputs
• Prepare project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., AWS, ASME, AISC)
• Supervise material testing, welding inspections, and structural steel assembly evaluations
• Oversee and document inspections, tests, and procedures conducted on-site and in fabrication facilities
• Identify defects or non-conformances, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions
• Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and certifications
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
• Train and mentor quality assurance and control personnel on policies and procedures
• Promote a culture of quality awareness across all departments
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and third-party inspectors to ensure adherence to contractual and legal requirements
• Address and resolve client concerns regarding quality promptly

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• Additional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the steel building or construction industry; experience with Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) is an advantage
• Proficiency in quality assurance techniques, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Knowledge of international construction and fabrication codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, AISC, ASME)
• Familiarity with software tools for project management and QA documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
