Quality Assurance Head - Weaving

Role Overview

The Group Quality Assurance Head will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the daily quality of fabric produced across all weaving units. The role focuses on real-time monitoring, daily production quality checks, ensuring fabric meets buyer and internal standards, and solving quality issues on the shop floor promptly.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Production Quality Control

• Ensure day-to-day quality checks are carried out accurately for all fabrics produced in weaving units.
• Monitor daily fabric production quality parametersincluding shade, GSM, width, defects, and hand feel.
• Review daily inspection reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented immediately.
• Ensure that all batches meet internal standards and buyer-approved specifications.
• Coordinate with production teams during shifts to resolve quality deviations in real time.

Customer & Supplier Quality Handling

• Review and ensure customer requirements are met during daily production.
• Coordinate with purchasing and sourcing teams to maintain quality consistency from external suppliers.
• Interact with buyers/customers during visits, inspections, and technical reviews.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Marketing, PPC, and Production teams to resolve daily quality challenges.
• Maintain strong coordination with operational staff to ensure smooth quality flow across shifts.

Continuous Improvement & Efficiency

• Identify recurring daily issues and drive actions to eliminate them.
• Work on reducing process wastage, improving efficiency, and enhancing fabric consistency.
• Use quality tools to analyze defects, understand root causes, and implement simple, effective solutions.

Team Leadership

• Guide and supervise QA teams in each unit to ensure reliable daily quality monitoring.
• Review daily quality performance and report key observations to senior management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of weaving processes and fabric performance parameters.
• Hands-on experience in daily production quality control.
• Good analytical skills for identifying quality deviations quickly.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-location teams and manage real-time issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹243,867.67 - ₹1,109,998.25 per year
