We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, with knowledge of automation testing being a strong plus. The QA Engineer will be responsible for creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, maintaining bug reports, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Familiarity with AI-driven QA tools will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans.

Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.

Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.

Create and maintain a detailed bug list / defect log, and follow up until resolution.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure quality standards.

Support and participate in the automation testing process (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar tools preferred).

Document test results, prepare reports, and provide insights for product improvement.

Ensure test coverage across multiple devices, operating systems, and browsers.

Stay updated with new trends, including AI-based QA and automation tools, to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

Ability to write and execute test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

Exposure to or willingness to learn automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge of AI-based QA platforms (e.g., Testim, Applitools, Mabl, or similar) will be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).

Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
