Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for the following qualifications:

• ISTQB Certified
• Experience: Minimum 3+
• SQL Server Management Studio: ISTQB Certified

Ability to Analyse test acceptance criteria to determine sufficient test cases and data combinations to achieve full coverage.

• SQL Server Management Studio:

Likely be used on an almost daily basis for data setup and analysis, test confirmation, etc.
e.g., SELECT and UPDATE queries, JOINS, etc.…

• API:

Knowledge of writing/sending API requests – and additionally, experience in writing JavaScript tests as part of those requests.
e.g., defining/storing global and/or collection variables, asserting correct response properties/values, storing requests into repeatable collections for regression, etc.If they have experience with Postman in particular, that would be a bonus.

• JIRA / Confluence

Experience with project tracking, and reporting of issues in JIRA
Confluence stores a lot of the product documentation (e.g. UI Standards), so may often need to be referred to.

• Test Management Systems (specifically: Zephyr Scale)

Experience with at least some test management system(s) – we currently use Zephyr scale

• Microsoft Office - In particular Excel.
• Automation Testing (Basic Requirement) – Understanding of test automation principles with experience in at least one automation tool.
• Exposure to Cypress or similar automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio (Studio/Code) is a plus.
• Effective Communication & Collaboration – Must be able to:
• Clearly understand and interpret task requirements.
• Communicate test results, issues, and risks effectively with stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other teams to ensure quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
