Role Overview:

QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design & execute manual test cases, scenarios, and plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, cross-browser & mobile testing.
Collaborate with developers & product team for defect tracking & resolution.
Write and maintain automation scripts (Selenium/Playwright).
Execute API testing using Postman/Rest Assured.
Validate data using SQL queries.
Share test reports & quality metrics.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC & test design techniques.
Hands-on
manual testing
(web & mobile) with good defect reporting skills.
Exposure to automation (Selenium/Playwright).
Tools: Postman, Appium, SQL, bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Good to Have:

BDD (Cucumber), JMeter.
CI/CD awareness (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).

Education:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
