Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 1-year experience to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual and automated testing. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in detecting bugs and ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: Conduct manual testing of applications to ensure quality and functionality. Create and execute test cases based on project requirements. Identify and report bugs or issues using the company’s issue tracking tools. Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve defects. Execute regression, functional, and integration testing for new features. Perform exploratory testing to identify possible edge cases. Document and report results clearly for the development team. Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure project timelines are met. Develop and maintain test scripts for automation testing (if required). Ensure adherence to QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Perform compatibility testing across different browsers and platforms. Skills & Requirements: Experience: 1 year of experience in manual and/or automated software testing. Technical Skills: Knowledge of basic software development and testing life cycles. Familiarity with testing tools like Jira, TestRail, Selenium (for automation), or similar. Understanding of basic coding (preferably Python, Java, or similar). Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect even minor discrepancies in software. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for bug reporting and documentation. Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex problems. Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery. Desired Traits: Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the QA field. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
