QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at Jungleworks, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our products. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with our development and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

• Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks:

  Design and build scalable automation frameworks using

  Selenium with Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber BDD

  , adhering to best coding practices.

• Implement Page Object Model (POM):

  Create highly maintainable and reusable test scripts by effectively implementing the Page Object Model.

• CI/CD Integration:

  Seamlessly integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines using tools like

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  , or similar.

• API Testing:

  Perform comprehensive API testing using tools such as

  REST Assured or Postman

  to validate backend functionality.

• Collaborate in Agile:

  Work closely with Development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth test execution within our Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.

• Regression Testing:

  Execute and maintain efficient regression test suites to identify defects early in the development lifecycle.

• Defect Management:

  Report and debug defects effectively using tools like

  JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr

• Continuous Improvement:

  Stay up-to-date with the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our test strategy.

• Experience:

  Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

• Automation Expertise:

  Strong proficiency in

  Selenium WebDriver with Java

  and a deep understanding of the

  Page Object Model (POM)

  .

• Testing Frameworks:

  Proven experience with

  JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD

  for test automation.

• CI/CD Integration:

  Practical working experience with

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  , or other CI/CD tools for automated test execution.

• API Automation:

  Hands-on experience with

  REST Assured, Postman, or Karate

  for API testing.

• Version Control:

  Familiarity with

  Git/GitHub/GitLab

  for managing test scripts.

• Agile Testing:

  Exposure to Scrum/Kanban methodologies and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in Agile environments.

• Defect Management Tools:

  Experience using

  JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr

• Certifications:

  ISTQB Foundation Level, Selenium WebDriver Certification, or AWS/Azure DevOps certifications.

• Cloud & DevOps Knowledge:

  Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized testing using Docker, Kubernetes.

• Performance Testing:

  Exposure to JMeter or Gatling for performance and load testing.

• Mobile Automation:

  Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
