Job Description: As a Software Tester , you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our MyBizz ERP application. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, API validation, and basic security assessments, working closely with the development team to enhance the application and address any potential issues. Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets high-quality standards. Analyse requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and document testing outcomes to facilitate smooth resolution of issues. Automation Testing Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to improve coverage and efficiency. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline testing with each build. API Testing Validate API endpoints for performance, functionality, and reliability. Use tools like Postman or REST Assured to test and automate API responses, status codes, and data accuracy.  Security Testing Conduct initial security testing, focusing on detecting common vulnerabilities like input validation and access control issues. Document findings, including vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting (XSS), and collaborate with developers to enhance the security posture of the application. Technical Skills Manual Testing Proficiency: Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and expertise in test case design. Automation Testing Experience: Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium or similar automation frameworks. API Testing Skills: Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and familiarity with creating and maintaining automated API test scripts. Basic Security Knowledge: Foundational knowledge in security testing, including identification of common vulnerabilities like XSS and MITM, input validation, and access control. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum one year of relevant experience in software testing. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. ********************
