Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Mumbai Residing ( Remote ) Experience : 2-6 year ( Level: Mid / SeniorEmployment ) Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality software products and experienced in building scalable automated testing strategies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, functionality, and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API-based applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Execute test plans, analyze test results, identify defects, and drive timely resolution. Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and QA documentation. Set up and manage test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc. Perform regression, performance, and integration testing as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of overall QA experience, with 2+ years in automation testing. Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#). Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs; experienced with Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured. Experience with version control systems like Git. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Azure. ISTQB or equivalent certification. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Test Plans). Knowledge of QA practices in secure and compliance-driven environments.
