Job Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to create and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable test automation frameworks. You will work in an Agile environment and help improve the overall testing process. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA leads) to understand product requirements and create appropriate test plans. Write and maintain test cases, test scripts, and detailed documentation. Execute automated test scripts, identify issues, and track defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Continuously improve testing processes and tools to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency. Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes don’t break existing functionality. Provide feedback on product quality and offer suggestions for improvement. Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team. Monitor test results and generate comprehensive test reports for stakeholders. Ensure test environments are properly configured for test execution. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in software testing. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, or similar. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM). Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and Agile testing. Experience in designing and developing automated test frameworks. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured). Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with mobile testing automation (Appium, Calabash). Knowledge of cloud testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with security testing practices.
