Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation and Performance Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to build robust automated testing solutions that improve testing efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g.,
  

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, REST Assured).

• Create and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test cases suitable for
  

automation.

• Conduct root cause analysis of failed tests and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Ensure regression tests are executed during each release cycle.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments to deliver high-quality software.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python,
  

JavaScript, C#).

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Rest Assured, Selenium WebDriver,
  

Appium, or similar.

• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerized applications
  

(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, collaborative, and Agile team environment.
• May require off-hours testing during critical releases.
