Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
automation frameworks
and test scripts for web and API testing.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to
understand requirements
and create effective test plans.
Implement and execute
automated regression, functional, and integration tests
across multiple modules.
Identify, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, or similar).
Ensure
continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
testing is integrated with build pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
Analyze test results, generate reports, and proactively work with teams to resolve issues.
Contribute to QA best practices and mentor junior testers in automation techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in
automation testing
for product-based companies.
Strong knowledge of
automation frameworks
like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
Experience with
API testing
tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Hands-on experience with
programming languages
such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and DevOps tools.
Strong understanding of
software testing methodologies
(Agile, Scrum, Regression, Smoke Testing).
Knowledge of
SQL/Database testing
.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
