Quality Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team. As a QA professional, you will ensure the quality and functionality of our products by conducting thorough manual testing and collaborating closely with the development team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution: Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web/mobile applications.
• Manual Testing: Perform functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• API Testing (Postman): Perform basic API testing using Postman to validate request/response behavior.
• Defect Identification & Reporting: Log, track, and manage bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, providing clear reproduction steps and detailed reports.
• Regression Testing: Ensure new enhancements or fixes do not break existing features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support business and product teams in validating product readiness before release.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in testing processes and suggest improvements for better efficiency and coverage.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defect logs.
• Compliance: Ensure all testing aligns with company standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years in Quality Assurance or Manual Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, including functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Basic API Testing experience using Postman.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and bug-tracking tools (Postman, JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation is a plus.
• Understanding of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) is an advantage but not required.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
