Quality Analyst (E-commerce)

Location :

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IndiaMagneto IT Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Analyst to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our e-commerce solutions. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of e-commerce applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to ensure testability.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.
  • Automate testing processes where applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Perform usability testing to ensure a user-friendly experience.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
